Surface cleaning is carried out during a wide variety of underwater operations. A variety of tools can be used to clean surfaces: hand scrapers, brushes, power tools (for example, hydraulically-driven brushes or grinders).

High productivity and safety of use are characterized by means using the effect of cavitation. The advantages of cavitation installations are especially noticeable in hard-to-reach places, surfaces of complex shape, in large areas or, if necessary, not to damage the paintwork.

The principle of operation of the installation is based on the creation of a high-speed cavitation jet, supplied under low pressure, with gas-vapor microscopic bubbles, which “collapse” when hit on the treated surface.

The resulting hydraulic shocks generate shock waves that reach the surface to be cleaned and cause the internal destruction of fouling and rust, as well as the release of cleaning products from the work area.

The installation works both on sea and fresh water; it can be performed with three drive options: gasoline engine, electric engine and diesel engine.
